TTC Timeline

February 2012: Initial consultation with RE #1. Blood work and ultrasounds showed no problems.

May 2012: IUI #1, natural cycle with donor #1. BFN.

June 2012: IUI #2, natural cycle with donor #1. BFN.

June 2012: HSG – left tube possibly blocked or spasmed, but forced open with dye.

July 2012: IUI #3, natural cycle with donor #1. BFN.

August 2012: IUI #4, natural cycle with donor #2. BFN.

September 2012: IUI #5 50mg clomid & trigger shot. Donor #2. 3 mature follicles at trigger. BFN.

September 2012: IUI#6, 50mg clomid & trigger shot. Donor #2. 1 mature follicle at trigger. BFN.

October 2012: IUI #7, 100mg clomid, trigger shot, and progesterone. Donor #2. 3 mature follicles at trigger. BFP. First Beta (14dpo): 17.2. Second beta (16dpo): 17.8. Third beta (18dpo): 7. Miscarriage at 5w2d.

November 2012: IUI #8, 100mg clomid, trigger shot, and progesterone. Donor #2. 1 mature follicle at trigger. BFN (Beta – 1.3).

Break due to travelling over the holidays, switch to RE #2.

January 2013: IUI #9, 5 days of 75 IU Bravelle/daily, trigger shot, and progesterone. Donor #2. 1 mature follicle at trigger. BFN.

February 2013:  IUI #10, 7 days of 75 IU Bravelle/daily, trigger shot, and progesterone. Donor #2. 1 mature follicle at trigger. BFN.

March 2013: Break cycle for timing purposes; start birth control for ovarian supression/regulation

March 2013: Mock Embryo Transfer – uterus free of polyps or fibroids.

April 2013: Continue birth control to supress/regulate ovaries for IVF#1.

May 2013: IVF #1 with Donor #3. Antagonist protocol, Lupron trigger (Bravelle, Menopur, Cetrotide, Lupron, Prometrium, Estrace). 23 eggs retrieved, 18 mature, 15 fertilized. 8 make it to day 5, transfer 1, freeze the rest. BFP. First Beta (10dp5dt): 372. Second Beta (14dp5dt): 2032. Heartbeat at 6w5d: 130.

July 2013: Nuchal Translucency scan.

September 2013: 20 week anatomy scan. It’s a girl!

February 2014: Ellie is born, weighing 8lbs, 6oz and measuring 20 inches long.
